God's Ten Commandments - Follow and Do

Rate this book
The Follow and Do series teaches young children about the Six Chief Parts of the Christian faith, combining the teachings in the catechism with practical application for all aspects of daily life. This book focuses on the commandments God gave to Moses and His people. The intention is not only to teach the words of the Ten Commandments, but also how to live them in a real-life setting. A letter to the child reader explains that we follow and do Gods commandments out of love and gratitude for what God has done for us. We follow and do because we want to, not because we have to. It clearly articulates that we are forgiven for the times we sin by not following the commandments because Jesus, our Lord and Savior, died for the Forgiveness of our sins.

Each piece starts with, "We should fear and love God so that..." I found it to be repetitive. Also, it appears that most f the language is adapted from an adult text and has not been changed to suit a child.
