I was offered an ARC but instead got it through my Kindle Unlimited account. That way Amazon will track that I've already read it which makes things easier for me. So, I did not get a "free" copy.

I was worried if I'd like this one since I read the first two books in this series and didn't really like them. This one, however, was really good. Skye is in the Bahamas looking for a man who will do all kinds of kinky things with her during her one week vacation. She wants no strings, no romance and no attachments just hot sweaty sex and BDSM for the entire week. The resort hosts a contest for her and Brody wins. She has sadness in her eyes and Brody understands that she wants to be punished to take away some of her pain. The cause of that pain isn't explained at the beginning.

Brody also wanted no strings, no romance and no attachments so this works well for him. The development of the story happens after their time in the Bahamas. Why she's sad and doesn't want attachments, Brody's true nature, and more. This story intrigued me and I would have read it all in one sitting if I didn't have a pesky job I had to go to.

This story restored my faith in Ella Miles and her ability to tell a story that has steamy sex, interesting characters and a satisfying ending. Although part of a series, this is a standalone HEA.

Now this book I thoroughly enjoyed! Out of the 3 in the series, this one was most certainly my favorite. Not only did it include steamy sex scenes, but the male main character, Brody, is also a total cutie with a bad streak. He acts like a bad boy, but deep under it all is just a huge softie with a weakness for Skye.

The mystery in this book surrounding Skye and her life was equally frustrating and intriguing. I kept reading to find out what is going on in her mind. Why she wouldn't give Brody a chance. Could she not see how weak at the knees he was for her even though he tried to pretend that he isn't there for anything but the dirty sex?

The plot kept me on my toes throughout the book, and the writing drew me in and kept me reading every sentence in such detail in fear of missing anything. I was truly captivated and couldn't put it down until I finished it.

Skye is on vacation and looking for wild, untamed, animal sex. So her resort holds a contest and whoever wins will be the one to give Skye what she wants. Sounds like a fluffy vacation romp, it's anything but, though. There is a serious reason why Skye is on vacation and wanting hot and steamy sex to take her mind off something horrible in her life. Brody is just the man to give her what she wants, but he's more than he seems, too. He wants to know what put the sadness he sees in her eyes, but will he get the chance? Especially when he seemingly turns out to be the jerk she had thought he was?

No one does suspense mixed with steam quite like Ella Miles, and she delivers like she always does in this story. I loved Brody and Sky's story. It's got twists and turns and seeing the two of them fall in love and deal with all the crazy things in her life is entertaining and engaging. I can't wait for more from the Unforgivable series!

This story for me had so much potential but yet again it felt a bit flat.

Skye to me should have been a badass of a woman but she completely came across as weak. There were also discrepancies in the story. She had just met Gabe and then two months of “dating” in the airport she sees his dark side just before going to Bahamas where she meets Brody. She fucks Brody to make her forget but when Gabe gets into an accident she’s besides herself? Skye walks on a plane with a gun but it’s never discovered? Gabe has eyes and ears everywhere but with a simple listening device he’s arrested and seemingly out of the picture? If the guy was powerful enough to almost kill a princess or cut off oxygen to an elderly woman in a care facility, how is he not able to make this arrest go away?

A good escape but needs more refinement.

Great story. I liked this chapter better than the first one in the series. I was hooked early on. Skye is on vacation and only wants raunchy sex. There's a contest and Brody wins. One night turns into seven days of sex, no last names, no personal info exchanged. The last day gets cut short and Brody is not impressed. The title of the book fits for what Brody does to Skye when she leaves. Time passes and they meet up again, the elusive Gabe is encountered and this is where the plot gets interesting. The story is fast paced and keeps the reader interested, although I would have liked more information regarding Bayron and how he had so much power and the royal connection was not explained.

I love everything this author writes so it should be no surprise that I loved Heart of a Prick. Another excellent addition to this series of books! I was intrigued by Skye's character in the previous book so I was pleasantly surprised to see that she got her own story and what a story it is! Suspenseful and quite mysterious which I loved! I always say that some of her characters are hard to like, but she certainly makes me end up loving them by the end of the story! Brody is another one of those characters. If you want mystery, suspense, well developed characters and storyline, steam, sex and really interesting twists and turns, you'll love this author's work. Another 5+ star read for me!

This is the 3rd book in this amazing series, and is Skye and Brody’s story. Skye is on vacation for a week just to escape from her problems in her life, and she wants to find a man who she can have “wild animal sex” with. When a competition is run, Brody is who she chooses as the winner. No spoilers though; this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed! This is an emotional, gripping, intriguing, and captivating story. This extremely talented author has done an amazing job in writing this storyline, and I cannot wait to read more of her work.

It took awhile for this story to unfold-- to learn who Skye and Brody really were, and not just the façade they projected in the beginning.
Oh. My. Goodness. What a tangled web.

And who the heck is Bayron, anyway??
Never mind… The Bahamas were… interesting…

Slowly but surely, I was won over, by Brody and Skye.
And by the whole crazy pack of supporting characters-- both human and canine.
And then there was Gabe. A true party crasher, if I ever saw one.

But thankfully… slowly but surely, it all came together into a great read.
Bottom line: I hated the beginning… The middle drove me bonkers… And I loved the ending! 5 stars.

Skye and Brody - 5 Stars

I absolutely LOVED this storyline. Skye met Brody at an all-inclusive resort in the Bahamas and through a series of contests that started with fifteen men vying for her companionship for the week, she ended up choosing Brody based on a kiss from the three finalists. She is looking for a man that will give her the wild, crazy, kinky sex that she wants in order to forget about her problems at home. With three additional, full-length books, it is definitely worth the price.

This was a much shorter book then I originally thought. Though I did really enjoy it. It had some great characters and an epic storyline. It was ready, sexy and intense. So a little bit of something for every reader.
Skye is a strong, independent woman looking to forget everything while away on vacation. Hoping to find a man for the week who will fulfill her every desire.
Brody is finally able to get away on a trip with his buddies. Looking for some down time. I think he gets more then he bargained for.
A fun, fast read. Though I was surprised it ended when. It did. 4/5 Star just because I expected it to be longer where the story ends and a new one begins.

This is the third in the unforgivable series of standalone stories.
Like the other 2 this has a real twist in its tale!
Skye picks Brody while on holiday to have one week of no strings BDSM, with no questions asked and no life stories told. With the promise that when the week is over they will go back to their normal lives alone.....
But of course these things never work out like that do they???
What follows reveals the true life that Skye lives and Brody finds himself desperately trying to prove that he isn't really a prick!!!

Skye and Brody are total opposite. She is a veterinarian with tattoos and piercings. He is all corporate, suits and ties, making deals. They meet in the Bahamas, and its 7 days, no strings, no romance, no questions of their personal life, just sex, kinky, nothing held back sex. Deeply they both feel more attachment than they let on.....This book definitely has a prick in it...The biggest PRICK of them all. I don't want to give too much away, cause you have to read the book, but I totally enjoyed it!!!! Would definitely recommend it!

This is a really great series! All stories are standalones but I recommend reading all of them. I would have to say, I think book three is my favorite so far. Skye and Brody have amazing chemistry during their time together but have to part before their time is up. When Brody goes after her, he finds Skye in a bad situation. Will he be able to help her? This story had steamy scenes, drama, and some twists. I could not put it down! I definitely recommend reading this one.

I voluntarily read an arc of this book for a fair and honest review. I loved Heart of a Thief, I liked Heart of a Liar, and I laahooved Heart of a Prick. Ella Miles doesn’t churn out books every two weeks like some authors. Ella Miles takes her times to develop characters and storylines that readers want to devour. Skye and Brody for example. The she packs on the heat and while I mostly skip sex scenes in books, I do read this author’s. I get flooded with arcs and turn down the majority, but I usually can’t wait for something new by this author.

Just like every other book in this series, it took me to someplace that I wasn’t expecting to go. I love Brody. I love that he’s the quiet, nerdy guy that comes from behind to pull out the win. Skye is something else. And even by the time I reached the end, I don’t think I had a handle on her character. She’s selfish, yet self-sacrificing. She is such an enigma to me. The twist in this book took me completely by surprise and made me question everything I had read to that point. It made me even more desperate to see how the book would end.

Skye hosts a contest at a beach resort to find a guy for a week of consentual, no questions asked and non committal sex - she puts the guys through a few different tasks and chooses Brody to be her mate. They enjoy a week of sex hazed, fun filled days and nights. When its over and done, they go their separate ways, but of course there are residual feelings.

Brody tracks down Skye in LA and goes to see if she would like to continue their escapades, but when he gets there, he is surprised by the situation he walks in to - and he then makes it his mission to save her from said situation.

I really enjoyed the story. Skye and Brody meet at a resort and she just wants a week of sex without thinking or caring. She finally gets it but Brody wants more. He doesn't understand why she won't see him again. When he finds out, he works really hard to free her from an abusive fiance.The story moved along quickly once Brody finds out the situation with Skye and Gabe. There were lots of sex scenes, abuse, love and mystery. I got this book as an ARC for an honest review.

This has been a great series. I did enjoy this book. I am happy that Ella didn't go into too much detail with the whole BDSM. That is not my cup of tea. I like Skye and Brody together. Though to find out how Brody really is compared to the guy in the Bahamas is hard to wrap my head around. I like him the normal way not the jerk way in the Bahamas but I just feel he is a complete 180 from each person. Though they both found that they each love BDSM. To each is own I say.

This is the third book I read from Ella Miles, and the same thing happened as with the other two books. The book is off to a great start and a nice plot for a story, but at a certain point the author appears to get lost along the way and is not able to maintain the plot and the quality of the story. Too bad, because the first part of the book shows that Ella definitely knows how to put a sexy story to words and provide you with some steamy scenes.

A story that took me by surprise. Not at all what I expected. By this only meant in the most positive way. It is an amazing and enjoyable read. It is very well written and the storyline and plot is a bit different that expected. Characters are so likeable and well described.
A story of nice length and very captivating from start to finish. It is emotional, dramatic, heartfelt and full of twists.
I like the kink, the chemistry and the free spirit in it.

Voluntary review of an ARC. Good read with well drawn characters and an interesting plot. I really liked Brody and he didn't seem as much of a prick as he was made out to be. Skye just seemed completely confused about what she wanted. One thing though, how in the world did she manage to board a commercial flight with a gun. I really must avoid that airline. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it.

This was a great read. The title is very misleading which is nice. I was completely surprised by the plot twist. I thought it added to the story nicely. I was glad that in the end Skye was finally able to be happy. She certainly deserved it.
