Cardell Hunt, a renegade free agent who has worked for both U.S. and Soviet intelligence agencies, is recalled from Morocco by U.S. agents to give one final debriefing
I read this book on the recommendation of a friend. It was entertaining, and clearly a product of the 1980s when it was written. There was a prevalent and casual use of narcotics that does not appear in contemporary or older spy thrillers. That said, it had all the hallmarks of a good spy thriller; ambiguity, double crosses, and special operations-like activity.
