(2) Content: The book uses 100-200 words to describe the festival traditions in each month of a year. For example, the July's valentines day is as follows: 七月七日，为牵牛织女聚会之夜。是夕，人家妇女结彩缕，穿七孔针，或以金银𨱎石为针，陈几筵酒脯瓜果于庭中，以乞巧，有喜子网于瓜上，则以为符应。On the Winter solstice, people eat red bean congee due to the legend that a ghost is afraid of red beans. 冬至日，作赤豆粥，以禳疫。量日影。(Explanation for this tradition：共工氏有不才之子，以冬至死，为疫鬼，畏赤小豆，故冬至日作赤豆粥以禳之。又晋魏间，宫中以红线量日影，冬至后，日影添长一线。)
