I thought the second book would get better than the first and I saw some potential to the story. The second book was, in fact, better than the first, in my opinion and it started making more sense as well. However, there was a huge disconnect, the ending felt rushed and I feel that the story was not fully developed. The ending was especially hard to follow since everything that was in the dream was also happening in real life as an equivalent. The reader saw what happened in the dream, but not shown the real-life equivalent. so we never know what exactly happened to Kokone and how she fell asleep or how she ended up dying in real life whilst sleeping. Was she sleepwalking or something? I also saw no point in Kokone not telling her grandpa their relationship when they first met. The whole story had potential but it was under-developed and rushed.

Though the art is lovely, the story is too confusing, and incredibly hard to follow. Its a real shame because the concept is fantastic!
