Elizabeth Lane needs a job fast in order to finish her last semester of school and head back to her small hometown to open her own medical clinic. However, she has no idea that in order to make her dream come true, she'll have to work for the notorious Dr. Jess Miller. She has always been able to tackle the hogs at home; surely she can manage one cranky doctor, can't she? Romantic sparks fly the moment they meet, but intimate relationships are against the rules. Jess isn't one to break the rules especially since he is going after a huge promotion. Sara lives with her husband and daughter in Salt Lake City. She loves writing, watercolor painting, walking Glitter, her dog, and spending time with her family and loved ones.

This is a fast reading love story. Elizabeth is almost finished with school and needs just one more job to pay the expenses. All is great with her plans. In her mind she is well on her way to her dream of having a clinic of her own.
The problems start when the only job available is with the notoriously bad-tempered Doctor Jess Miller. She has always been able to tackle the hogs at home: surely she can manage one cranky doctor.
Doctor Miller, on the other hand, never breaks the rules, especially when he is trying to get a very important promotion in the clinic where he works. He likes his new secretary, but goes out of the way to keep her guessing and many times frustrated.
They start on the wrong foot, so Elizabeth is surprised when he asks her to be his secretary on a trip to Las Vegas. Things get interesting when another doctor shows interest in the girl and Jess become overprotective.
I enjoyed the way this tale developed; it presents great reading material. The romance was interesting and keeps the story moving.

This was a great story. The characters have humor, I chuckled out loud several times. They are also filled with heartfelt emotion, that twists and turns. They both have strong attraction but fight the feelings, until they realize they are better suited to each other. then apart, though the road to victory can sometimes be tumultuous and of course fun.
A very enjoyable romance story.

It makes me want to fall in love all over again

Sara Fitzgerald has done it again. She makes me want to fall in love all over again. Sara writes sweet romances with feel good endings. The two doctors in her book are handsome and lovable. Elizabeth Lane, though inocent, is no pushover. She can handle her man.

You will enjoy this book and Sara's first book, Mine For Keeps.
