Julia's Dreams

Sleep was a commodity she couldn't enjoy. Dreams turned into nightmares, nightmares turned into reality. How do you fall asleep when everything surrounding you morphs into the unthinkable. The jacket hanging on the hook became her uncle swinging from the rafters. The velvet in the quilt; snakes slithering across her body. Every innocent item turned into the very thing she feared the most. Finding a way past the dreams only opened doors to the spirit world. While Julia works to overcome the fear in the dreams she discovers other talents.

About the author

I grew up in the middle of no where. Population 1 person per 5 square miles. What do you do when there are so few people around? You sing to yourself while riding the bike, run when you are angry with your parents and get lost in the woods. I wrote my first poem when I was about 10. From there it was pure poetry with the thought, someday I'll write a book. It was the words of Kathleen Woodiweiss that propelled me. While I digested book after book, stories formed in my mind. It took another thirty years before I sat down and wrote Tikan Empire. The story pretty much wrote itself from book one all the way through book 6. Today I live with my husband and dog in Pennsylvania where I write, read, tend the flower beds and walk.
