Milly's gone through a lot ever since she became the Chosen of Temtra, Goddess of Desire. It's been her against the world as her people suffer as refugees in a foreign nation. She's had to lie, steal, kill, and work for others to survive, and she's made quite the notorious name for herself. Just another day in the life of a Chosen.
When she's arrested for the umpteenth time, she thinks it'll blow over just as quickly. However, Milly's been framed for high treason for a crime she didn't, for once, commit. Worse still, a Holy Father has been summoned to judge her, and if he finds her guilty she and her fledgling religion will be cast out as heretics to be hunted. The Chosen of Desire will have to act fast to prove her innocence.
Not for underage readers.
This is the first novella of 9 planned, three of which will star Milly. They connect Chronicles to Reluctant Healer, filling in the gaps. The continent of Palos is in the midst of history, and how will our heroes be apart of it?
A Novella About Milly's Life After Doc, The Slime Dungeon, Teleported Away From The Empire's Area Of Influence.
Milly is a funny young woman. "Funny" as in odd, a bit strange, and possibly more than a little insane; but as The Chosen of Temptra, Goddess of Desire, what should one expect? Her chaotic ways lead to friction with the inhabitants of Valoran, the nation which has taken the dispossessed Nehatrans in while they plan how they will retake their country from The Empire's control. The result is that Milly will be forced to fight for her life on a battlefield with which she has no experience.
This novella will likely appeal to fans of the Fantasy and LitRPG genres, as well as those who enjoy playing RPGs.
