Andie M. Long is the author of multiple titles including the popular Supernatural Dating Agency series.
When not writing, or editing for other authors, she spends her time drinking coffee and eating far too many Toblerones. She adores her whippet, Bella, and is tormented frequently by her OH and her teenage son.

Jenny had thrown the bouquet, and it had landed firmly in my manicured hands. Of course I had the advantage of my school netball training, honed in adulthood on the basketball game at the seaside slots, and my threats to kidnap her firstborn if I didn’t get it.
The woman, with mid-length brown hair, looked me up and down so hard I’d swear I’d forgotten to get dressed.
I can’t believe what I ever saw in him. I fell out of love so fast that I’m questioning if I was ever in love. I think I was in-settling.
My Review:
I doubt I will ever tire of Andie M. Long’s irreverent yet insightfully humorous tales. This one involved a bit of heartache, a lot of amusing and humorous observations and details, a few hits of steam and salacious sizzle, and generous dashes of Irish charm. Written in my favorite dual POV, I adored the clever and endearing cast, Anna and Cillian were strong and witty characters and I enjoyed being in their heads as they processed their thoughts.
While off to Ireland with her girlfriends while celebrating her hen do, or what we in the US would call a bachelorette party, Anna receives an errant butt dialed phone call from her fiancé while he was in mid delight and on the receiving end of sexual favors from another – oops! After the required mope period for heartache had elapsed Anna decided it was time to move on and be far away when her ex was all set to marry his mistress on Anna’s planned wedding date – burn! Anna decided she was up for some adventure of her own which may or may not include “sexcapades” with a new acquaintance she had made during her all too brief visit to Ireland.
And as a bonus, I learned several new additions for my British Isles vocab list, this time with Irish slang and Gaelic words including Slainte -which is a toast for good health; shitehawk - which Urban Dictionary defined as a term used in Cork to describe the inhabitants of the poorer districts who came in from areas beyond the street lights “with muck between their toes and nothing between their ears;” and gobshite which is a person who blathers on about nonsense. Anyone else notice a trend? ;)
I started to read The Luck Maker at 11.30pm and couldn’t put it down! I was 50 percent in before my eyes gave in and I was loving it. It’s fabulous, funny and super feel good! I went to sleep with a smile on my face and that’s something I’ve not done in a while. Dublin is one of my favourite cities and to visualise all the places Andie visits in the novella was a like a breath of fresh air.
Anna is preparing her wedding, but when she travels with her friends to Ireland and discovers that her fiancé is cheating on her, she quickly breaks up. After the end of the relationship, Anna dives into work and into a virtual friendship with Cillian, the guy she bumped into in Ireland in the night it all went wrong. When the day of her supposed marriage arrives, Anna decides to go to Ireland again, at Cillian's invitation, to get to know the place, and things really are different this time around. But will the feelings of Anna and Cillian be able to overcome the distance? I loved the story, it's a super fast read.
Anna finds out her fiance is cheating by hearing it happening via butt-dial during her hen party weekend. A chance encounter with a hot guy in a bar becomes a messaging friendship via Facebook and quickly evolves to much more for both (assuming he doesn't send her home in garbage bags as her mother expects lol). I love this relationship as it evolves over months of messaging while she recovers her life and deals with her butt-dialing butthead ex-fiance as he tries to get her back and keep his side chick. Great read.
I was given an ARC and here's my honest review. I liked this novella!! It's a beautiful story about second chances, love and happiness. It's very short and I read it with pleasure. The story was fluent, with nice characters and beautiful descriptions of Dublin. I think it may become one of my next city to visit!

This delectable read had me hooked and I devoured it in one sitting . Filled with heartache, passion, humour, a second chance at happiness and characters you just fall in love with, you find yourself on the sidelines cheering for them. If you want all that in your read then The Luck Maker is the book for you.
What an emotional story. This part of a anthology Tempting Luck. Anna’s fiancé cheats on her while she is on her hen doin Dublin. Cillian meets her and kisses her in the pub when she is drunk. A lovely romance I loved it. Voluntarily reviewed this advance copy
I REALLY LOVED THIS INSTALMENT TO THE LUCK ANTHOLOGY. A LIGHT HEARTED READ FROM AN AMAZING AUTHOR. WITH THE CHANCE FOR TRUE HAPPINESS, WITH THE RISK OF TAKING A CHANCE AND A LITTLE BIT OF LUCK. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I didn't like that this couple started off with some cheating. Not much and her current partner is way worse to her but that started me off on the wrong foot. This book went to fast for me I was looking for more character development.
