This was an absolutely brilliant ending to the series! This book was full of emotional angst, scorching love scenes, and a compelling storyline. I am enthralled with the characters of Princess Sophia and Pax. Pax has a tendency to use humor as a way to cope with situations. Pax will do anything for Sophia and in order to prove to her how much he loves her, after healing from being shot by a stalker fan, Pax and Sophia travel back to Montovia to have a royal wedding. Will Pax be able to succumb to the demands of the Sophia’s father, King Edmund, and prove to him that he is worthy of his daughter? Pax has to learn Montovia’s traditions, customs, history and laws in order to appeal to King Edmund of his worthiness and to win him over, but then circumstances turn for the worst. Will Pax be able to convince King Edmund that he is worthy of Sophia? What happened that caused the family to almost turn against Pax? Sophia and Pax have had to endure many predicaments during their time together. You get a chance to see the progression of their love—theirs was not a quick and easy love story because they had to overcome some issues, but loves does prevail. There are several twists and turns within the story that makes it interesting. The scenes are well written, fast-paced and flow smoothly from one scene to the next while the strong charismatic characters draw readers in and refuse to let go. The collaboration between Ember Casey and Renna Peak is amazing. The book will pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end.
I have absolutely loved every single page of Pax and Sophia’s story.... and I hope you’ve read books 1-5 since I’m going to give you a spoiler :/
After a near death experience Pax is determined not to let Sophia walk away from her family and country for him. He agrees to go to Montovia so he can prove to Sophia’s father that they truly love each other and are married for the right reasons.
Sophia continues to do her best to help support Pax so he can become the “Prince” he deserves to be. But what happens when Pax hits a breaking point and fells like everyone is out to prove otherwise. Sometimes you can o let fight an uphill battle for so long until you feel like you’re falling.
Will love continue to be enough of encouragement for him to prove King Edmund wrong, will they get the chance to even prove their love to him. When major events outside of anyone’s power arise, you truly find out what love and family really means.
I can’t wait to see what’s next for Nicolas’s installment...
I seriously love these two!! We were left off with Pax in recovery, and now having to face the inevitable. We all know how King Edmund loves tradition, and this man is going to push Pax to his max. But, with Sophia love and her determination, can they insure every single hit. I absolutely love how their story has been a whirl wind. Pax and Sophia will make you laugh, swoon, and have so much fun reading about their crazy relationship. I don’t want to ruin the story for anyone, so I hope that you love this story as much as I enjoyed reading it. Ember and Renna, you ladies have really done an outstanding job with this series, and the rest of they Royal Family. I can’t wait to see what’s next. But, I’m not going to lie... I would love to read about the King and Queen on day. Maybe when they first got together before the kids! Oh my, just to see what a young Edmund would be like.
Thank you ladies!!! I loved every minute of this book!
This episode nicely answered all of my questions about the future of Pax and Sophia, yet still shocked and stunned with surprising twists. My eyes welled with unexpected tears. I held my breath a few times. Then I laughed aloud at the exchange between Sophia and her mother, the queen! (That was priceless!)
Families come in all forms and love is shown in very different ways. In the end, that's what it's all about. Love, support and loyalty.
My only complaint is that it seeminly ended a little abruptly. Still a five star read!
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book Oh, if ever there was a fantastic ending to this story, well this story is the icing on the cake. Pax wants to prove to Sophia’s family and the King he is worthy. The things he does, every challenge...easy or hard he does. Then when fate takes a dramatic turn, once again Pax is a true hero. It made me tear up. He is more than an ordinary man as he says. He is a Prince amongst men. It will make you laugh and cry but you will have lots of respect for Pax and he deserves the girl.... his Sophia. Loved it all
As always another fantastic installment in Pax and Sophia's story. I was a little disappointed that a few scenes were rushed through. I would have liked to find out more about how the King felt after surgery, but it just felt cut off. My favorite part were the etiquette lessons for Pax. And of course the ending!
Loved this finale! I'll admit I was pretty close to the end when I was thinking, is there another book? I don't know how they can wrap this up, but Sophia and Pax's story was wrapped up perfectly. The final installment gives you all of answers to the rest of the questions we have been waiting on through the series. I love this family and those that have married into it. Another great read!
It was fun taking a ride into lives of Sophia and Pax. And while they had many challenges, there was also love between them. So I would say it is like riding a roller-coaster and like I said I enjoyed the ride. I do love happily ever after fairy tale ending. Love this series! I voluntarily read this book in exchange for my honest opinion.
Book 6. What a beautiful way to end this set of books. This book will take you on an emotional journey. Love love love Pax and Sophia. I hate all the hoops Pax had to go through but it made for interesting read.
The final installment of Pax and Sophia's story was a great way to end their story. I thought that their relationship came out stronger in the end for what they had been through as a pair. There were a few places in their story that I felt it was a bit rushed and could have been expanded on but in the end it worked for their story. I continue to enjoy this series and would recommend it to others. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.
Bow down to Pax and Sophia! Loved this series! So excited that book 6 is here!!
I thought I couldn't love Pax anymore than I already did, but the lengths he goes to to prove to Sophia’s family that he's worthy to be her husband are outstanding, and had me falling for him even more!!
I loved the conclusion to their story and all the twists and turns they experienced along the way.
A fantastic well written series, and one I would highly recommend!
