I've read Henry Kariel's "Beyond Liberalism: Where Relations Grow. In a chapter of the book , Henry Kariel talked about the use of performance art and street theater to engage the public more in raising political awareness and encouraging participatory democracy in our government and workplace.I highly recommend Henry S Kariel's , "Beyond Liberalism: Where Relations Grow" for everyone who is concerned about the Corporate takeover of our public places , and the privatization of our governing process. Whoever cares for our individualist, civic republicanism that leads towards a more empathic , sense of community ought to read this book.
