Soon after Aunt Margaret arrives for her traditional Sunday visit, Milton Sayger and his wife drive up. Milton's face is blank and his voice is toneless. When Aunt Margaret sends David for a glass of water, he trips. The water hits Mr. Sayger's face snapping him out of his trance. Later, David, Julie, and Aunt Margaret discuss Mr. Sayger's resemblance to the pod people in The Invasion of the Body Snatchers. David and Julie soon realize that the discussion is no joke. More strange happenings force Aunt Margaret to tell David and Julie her story. When, Aunt Margaret died from her second heart attack, an alien found her and merged with her and kept her alive. Now, the alien refuses to return to its own world. The aliens sent to find the one in Aunt Margaret’s body have invaded other human bodies including Mr. Sayger’s.
