Signal Corps complied by Rebecca Robbins Raines has all the details of the specific battalions in the Signal Corps. Each battalion’s heraldic items and unit insignias are found in the front of the book. The rest lists their lineage and honors and where they served in campaigns to document military history. There is no logic to the numbering of battalions, as many were renumbered in different eras. Some battalions were short lived, like only southeast Asia. Yet, others are World War I and World War II, but many were the second world war and then Vietnam and southeast Asia, but some operational in more recent conflicts. Published in 2005, there is not much about our Post 9/11 involvement.

In addition to the campaigns, their decorations are listed and there is an excellent bibliography of research that documents this particular battalion and its achievement.
