I'm posting a completely honest, voluntary review after reading this collection.
This is the easy way to read all the Boston Dom books all in one place, including a short story that was previously in an anthology.
In my opinion, at its base, these stories are all about family, who your family is, and creating the family that works for you. Your family isn't just limited to the people who you are related to by blood, but you can choose who you want your family to be. Of course, the fact that this all comes wrapped up in stories with hot Alpha Domly male types, strong submissive women, hot sex, BDSM, and more plot than you can shake a paddle at.
While it's about family and the family that you create as well, there are a lot of people who are related by blood as well. We have Dom and Matt who are identical twins and married to sisters Heidi and Hillary, respectively. Then you have their cousin, Tony, who marries Tessa. Then, in the last full book, we have Nora who is Tessa's little sister who gets together with Diego. Slay, who marries Alice, has a little sister named Elena who gets together with Blake, who owns The Club, which is the BDSM club where they all hang out, work, and play. Donnie and Grace, and Lucas and Gretchen are the only ones who aren't directly related by blood to anyone, but Donnie has worked with the guys at The Club for a long time and is considered a brother to them all. Gretchen went to school with Elena and Lucas works for Slay's security company, and they are both close to everyone else. See what I mean about it all coming down to family?
Each of these stories is a full and complete story in and of itself. You don't necessarily have to read them in order, if you don't want to, because you will get enough of the backstory to get any connections to other stories, but it's better if you read them in the right order. There is an overarching story arc through the main books, but it's woven lightly through the stories and the drama in between the characters is mostly the main action.
Anyway, I love the Boston Doms. The guys are so loving and wonderful to their women and their families. The women, even though they are subs, aren't anyone to be walked right over. They have strong personalities and are very strong characters who take care of their men. They have chosen to give their submission to a man who has earned it, not someone who tried to force it out of them. See, strong. They are great stories to sit down and read and get yourself lost in.
Woah! I'm a newly inducted Jane Henry fan and upon finding this on my feed, I had to take a bite. I don't regret reading this one bit! I consumed all the books in the matter of days because I couldn't get enough! Loved the family dynamics and how we met all of them and who they eventually got together with. Each story had a uniqueness about it. As the warnings say this set focuses on ONE type of discipline, so be warned. Jane does not disappoint and in this collabo box set, I was blown away! *read on ku*
What an exceptional boxset you don't want to miss. It includes 1. My Dom What a great beginning it turned out to be. A Dom who only hit it and quit it once, a natural submissive who is willing but confused with a bit of reluctance thrown in, a mother on a continual rant, a kidnapping, and an escaped villain. This book of only has all the scenarios covered but characters so personable they're absolutely relatable.
2. His Submissive All Hillary wanted was to explore her wants and needs but choosing the wrong Dom had put her in the precarious situation of needing to be rescued from the situation. Mateo, Dom's twin brother and fiancée to Hillary's sister had been at the BDSM club and been the one to rescue Hillary. When signals get crossed and a lack of communication combine to put these two on a rocky course, it doesn't help when it becomes apparent there is a stalker threatening not only Hillary but the BDSM club as well. This had an intriguing twist of evil threaded through the story which kept me turning pages to find out what happened next.
3. Her Protector If you've been following the "Boston Doms" series by Jane Henry then you know Tony has never been into the BDSM lifestyle. It's never been something he was interested in nor could he wrap his brain around all the rules. So when his girlfriend broadcasts Tess' proclivity to go to a BDSM club at a wedding rehearsal of all places he was a bit surprised, to say the least. There are so many emotional twists and turns in this storyline. In full disclosure, if you have any self-harm triggers, consider carefully, although there is a happily ever after ending.
4. His Babygirl What an intense storyline 'His Babygirl' turned out to be. In the fourth book of Jane Henry's "Boston Doms," we get an inside look at Slay and Alice's relationship. I have to admit, most DD/lg stories I've read are not this physically or emotionally intense. So when I say these attributes added to a dangerous situation that cannot be discussed only amped my visceral reaction. What an exhilarating read. p.s. I'm really hoping the situation with Diego comes soon and who the heck is Victor and how does he fit into this?
5. His Lady Elena, Slay's baby sister, and Blake, owner of The Club, Boston's safe, sane, and consensual BDSM club seem to have a knack for pushing each other's buttons. She's curious and determined to explore regardless of her brother's objections. Master Blake has recently lost his wife and submissive along with his lust for life until he posts a message on his wife's blog letting her followers know she's passed and received a caring acknowledgment. These are both incredibly strong personalities that had me quickly turning pages. Not only that but Salazar is at it again but what will he do now? And I'm still wondering who Victor is.
6. Her Hero I hope I'm not the only reader of this series who has continually wondered and hunted through previous books to try and figure out who Donny was. If I am, then you can only imagine how excited I was to read his story. If you've read the blurb then you have a brief synopsis already so there's no need for me to go through that. What I will say is this storyline is shocking, thrilling, exciting, at times awe-inspiring, and sigh-worthy. Once again, Jane Henry brings the 'family' together to help one of their own when trouble is dropped on Donny's doorstep. The drama continually builds as Salazar is due to get out of prison and frustration over wiring at the new club. Sometimes second chances are better than the first time around and Grace and Donny have proved that with their story.
7. My Redemption It seems like I've been waiting for Diego's story almost from the beginning of the series. The heart, passion, righteous indignation, all combined with a natural dominance makes him the perfect undercover agent and then Daddy to Nora. Nora has come so far since she was introduced and yet through it all, she has retained her caring heart that sees the best in others. What a magnificent story.
8. Bonus novella: Unchartered Waters (originally published in Hero Undercover) Lucas Grant is a skilled operator and experienced Dominant who understands the value of discipline and control. An undercover protection detail on a kinkster cruise ship seems like just the kind of assignment he needs to give him a change of scenery and clear his head… Until he learns that the client he’s tasked with protecting is the one beautiful, headstrong, infuriating woman he’s never been able to stop thinking about. The attraction between them burns hotter than ever, but when unexpected information surfaces, Lucas and Gretchen need to make a choice: stick to the plan they’ve laid out, or trust one another and dive into uncharted waters. Throughout this entire series, I've wondered how Lucas fit into Slay's crew, especially when he said Slay wasn't his boss but they worked together. And then let's talk about Gretchen because she's the wildcard in this one that I didn't see coming. This is a short read with a twist of mystery and a few surprises along the way. What a great way to bring everything full circle.
My Dom (Boston Doms Book 1) YOU’RE NOT IN KANSAS ANYMORE, TOTO!
I enjoyed this beginning to a new series, Boston Doms, with a great cast of characters, intriguing scenarios, and witty dialog. Heidi, a smart lady, strong in business with a great reputation will meet her match with a neighbor, Dom Angelico. Dom is a headmaster of a private school, lives up to his given name of Dom in that he is dominant. It doesn’t take long for an encounter with Dom and Heidi for him to see she is a natural submissive, and she already knows he is dominant from what she has heard during late nights out his bedroom window with his harem of women. As they form a relationship, a work ethic is thrown in the middle. The interaction between Dom and Heidi is an adventure into her submissive side and allowing him to dominate her. She learns all about trust, safe, sane and consensual. The plot kept me captivated and the pages turning with mystery, suspense, an investigation, a rescue, and many other situations. The dialog is entertaining as Dom and Paul (her assistant) helps clearly define a D/s relationship and responsibilities. “Doms aren’t jerks, and subs aren’t weaklings.”
His Submissive (Boston Doms Book 2) THOUGH SHE BE BUT LITTLE, SHE IS FIERCE
The plot has a great cast of characters, plenty of angst, intense situations, and a battle of wits and wills, along with a wake-up calls to what is important. The wedding plans are in full force for Dom and Heidi. Personal family issues come into play on both sides of their families, adding to the tension. In the heat of a crisis, several people will come face to face with what is the most important things in their life and how they handle issues. Matteo and Hillary keeping their D/s relationship a secret makes it a challenge for both of them when it comes to being honest with their families. “I prefer women who are smart and strong and sassy. When a capable, resilient woman chooses to submit, that’s a priceless gift.”
Her Protector (Boston Doms Book 3) IT’S LIKE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN….MONSTER TRUCKS AND TELEVISED GOLF
The plot brings out some very honest discussions and issues between a couple. Tessa has played around in D/s scene, she finds spankings cathartic, and knows it is something she needs, it is a beneficial outlet and helps ground her. Tony knows his twin brothers, Dom and Matteo, are both Doms, but it has never been something he has considered. They were brought up to be gentlemen and not hit girls, and the thought of spanking a woman and causing her pain is baffling to him. As Tony and Tessa begin a relationship, their open discussions include D/s, her need to be spanked and why. “Just because she lived to submit didn’t mean she could be walked over, or taken for granted.” Can Tony give Tessa what she needs? The story also brings out cutting, and why some women do this. I love the Angelico family; they include those who they love as family, even outsiders. When Tony and Tessa more in together and begin a relationship, when her sister Nora needs help, Tony has no problems with her living with them. When Nora is abducted, the Angelico brothers call in favors and get her back safely. When Tessa has doubts and falls back on cutting, Tony proves his love, his commitment, his word, and his dominance and she grants him her submission. “You’re beautiful. You’re strong. You’re resilient. He raised his hand, punctuating each word with a stinging stroke of his palm. And you. Are. Mine.”
His Babygirl (Boston Doms Book 4) IT ALL COMES DOWN TO THIS: DO YOU TRUST ME?
Alice is a single mother of a six-year-old boy named Charlie, raising him on her own without support from her high school sweetheart, and Charlie’s father. She works several jobs, including at The Club tending bar where Slay is a Dungeon Master and bouncer. She has feelings for Slay, but he has pushed her away, hurt her feelings and she has decided, she would do whatever she wants, she doesn’t answer to him. Slay has been bidding his time, but when he sees Alice outside the club smoking, he decides it is time to take action. Their relationship is going to take a new twist. Slay has secrets, ones that he can’t share with her, ones that are part of an undercover sting and he is trying to keep her safe. There are other people involved, Marines he served with, part of a security detail, and some people appear to be of the criminal nature. As Slay and Alice become involved, he keeps asking her to trust him, but it is something she is struggling with. As with all D/s relationship, submitting and trusting are always so much easier in theory.
Slay and Alice have a Daddy Dom/little girl relationship. He wants her to trust him, call him Daddy and allow him to take care of her and know what is best. “You’re my babygirl. And Daddies always give their babygirls what they need.” Things will become a life and death dangerous situation, and it will be Charlie, Alice’s son, who proves to be a hero. Don’t judge a person by their size or looks, because looks can be deceiving, and eventually, others will see that it isn’t what you see on the outside, but what is inside a person’s heart and soul. There are plenty of discipline scenes and explicit sex scenes.
His Lady (Boston Doms Book 5) MISTERHAVEN TAMES LANIELOVE
The plot will have two people who don’t originally get along in person, discovering they have been communicating via a blog and text. What happens when they discover that who they interact with by text, is the one person that riles them up in person? Elena teeters on a fine line of strong will and being able to submit. “I didn’t ask you to submit I told you that you were getting a spanking.” When trouble comes in the form of a new church making threats against The Club and Blake, this puts all the club Dominants on high alert. Elena has trouble listening and following orders and that sets Blake and Slay off. “Elena, in just this one morning, you’ve aroused me, defied me, angered me, and made me laugh my head off. One thing you have not done, one thing you never do, is inconvenience me. It is my job—my privilege—to take care of you and keep you safe. That is my priority. You are my priority. Understand?” Between threats, protest, and this new church, The Club and those in the BDSM community realize that “Pandora’s box has been opened.” Through everything, two people find each other, Blake realizes that Josie was his first love, but Elena is his new future. “His girl. His woman. His Elena. His to protect, to discipline, to pleasure.” I have loved this series and all those who we have met and followed in these five stories.
Her Hero (Boston Doms Book 6) GONNA MAKE YOU MINE, ANGEL!
The plot will have Donnie’s childhood friend and associate, Pedro Diaz showing up battered and beaten and then word that Mickey had Grace. Not only will he rescue her, and with the help of others, keep her safe, he will have to face the demons of his past. Grace is the one girl, now a woman, that has haunted him for nearly thirteen years. She was a teenager when he left the neighborhood, but now she is a woman. What will Grace think of Donnie when she learns of his world, BDSM, and how he is a sadist and for him, inflicting pain is pleasure? “You never followed everyone else’s rules. You aren’t the kind of guy who does. I could totally see you being the one in charge like that.”
Problems from the past, evil people, and events will resurface. Jealous will be an issue at The Club and cause life and death issues. Can Donnie keep Grace safe from Mickey? What about from himself? Grace surprises him with her desires and what she wants. Two people who have been in love with each other for so long will have a second chance at a future if they can keep her safe. “You’re protective. You’re fierce. That’s who you are.” There are scenes in the club and then in private that include intense BDSM, spanking, and explicit sex scenes.
My Redemption (Boston Doms Book 7) SOMEONE TO WATCH OVER ME
The plot will have Diego saving the life of a minor girl, Camila, that will place his men at the Warehouse in jeopardy. Threats will be made that they had better recover and dispose of her within a week, or else. Based on a sketch made of the man who saves Camila, Nora will risk her safety by going down to the wharf to confront Diego where he will find her and take her back to his family home. This will begin their daddy dom/little girl relationship.
Two people who have feelings for each other, but never have had a chance to act upon them will turn a new page. While Nora has never experienced a D/s lifestyle, she is aware of her sister and brother-in-law’s relationship, as well as, many of her friends and coworkers that do practice the lifestyle. Diego’s dominance and speech have a way of melting Nora and allowing her to submit to him. He proves he isn’t afraid to turn her over his knee and spank her life he promised he would.
“There will always, always, be consequences.” “You need a daddy to protect you.” “Do you trust me to keep you safe, baby? Tell Daddy.”
The story will have many intense life and death moments that will have your heart racing and the pages turning as you are on the edge of your seat. Not everyone who appears to be good, is good, and evil lurks around the corner. It helps to have friends in high places and to bring things to an end finally.
“The end of an era, but just the beginning of good things to come.”
The story will give the reader the happily ever after ending to complete this series. It has been an amazing journey, and I was glad that I was along for the ride. I can’t wait to see where these two authors will take us next. The story does have explicit sex scenes along with minor age-play language.
Merged review:
“Doms aren’t jerks, and subs aren’t weaklings.” I am anxiously anticipating book 2 in this series.
His Submissive (Boston Doms Book 2) THOUGH SHE BE BUT LITTLE, SHE IS FIERCE I enjoyed this second story in the Boston Dom series. This book picks up from book one, but will also hold up well as a standalone. Hillary is sister to Heidi and now that Heidi and Dom are together, she is living in Heidi’s apartment. They are in the planning stages of Heidi’s wedding and trying to move past a situation where Hillary had met a man by the name Maurader on a website and joined him at a BDSM club called Black Box. Word is he is a predator, has done this type of thing before to other women, and he hasn’t had his fill of torturing Hillary. Matteo, along with his friend Slay were the ones to rescue her at the Black Box. Now that unexplained issue are happening the club he realized that Hillary needs protection, and he takes action. With Matteo acted as Hillary’s dominant, the give and take of this D/s relationship ends up leaving both of them frustrated due to his “no sex” rule. “People could sometimes be blind to the most obvious things, and have grand and misguided ideas and expectations about what’s proper and best – for themselves and everyone around them.” “If you put the right two people in a room, they would orient themselves to one another…the way a compass always finds truth north, because that is how love works.” The plot has a great cast of characters, plenty of angst, intense situations, and a battle of wits and wills, along with a wake-up calls to what is important.
Her Protector (Boston Doms Book 3) IT’S LIKE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN….MOSTER TRUCKS AND TELEVISED GOLF I really like this series, and book three did not disappoint. These books can be read out of order, but do follow a timeline and would be best if read in order. I laughed, I cringed, I cried, and found this to be extremely emotional, with raw detail, and an open and honest discussion. Dominance and submission don't come with a one-size-fits-all set of rules, and this is a huge part of this story that has the large cast of characters from the previous stories, but this mainly focuses on Tony and Tessa and their relationship, from friends, employer/employee, to lovers and Dominance and Submission. This series is family, faith, friends, honesty, and reality. The D/s lifestyle is safe, sane and consensual; it isn’t FSOG, and for each couple, it is what works for them. “There’s a big difference between dominance and submission as opposed to sadism and masochism, and it’s not all physical. There’s an emotional connection, a level of trust between a submissive and her partner. That’s the best part.” The plot brings out some very honest discussions and issues between a couple.
I enjoyed this fourth story in the Boston Dom series. Each book has people from previous stories, and we learn a bit more about what is going on in their lives, but this story focuses on Alexander “Slay” Slater and Alice Cavanaugh. We are left with some news, and I look forward to the next book in their series.
His Lady (Boston Doms Book 5) MISTERHAVEN TAMES LANIELOVE I have loved this series and would get all excited when I saw a new book was being added. Each story reads as a standalone, but are more a continuing series, and would be best to be read in order. They have many of the same people, adding new individuals into the mix and the drama of the series. In this fifth story, we will see that fine line between love and hate, pain and pleasure, and how it is the yin and yang of life. Also, that age is just a number, and it does not define an individual or a couple. “Sometimes you can’t predict the future. You don’t know who you’re gonna meet, or how things will turn out. You don’t know…who you’ll fall in love with.” Blake Coleman, mid-fifties, widower, former Marine, owner of The Club, Master Dominant, mentor, and friend, are just some of the things that could describe him. His life has changed with the death of his beloved wife, Josie, who was his submissive. Trying to decide what to do with her blog, and renewing the domain, when he logs in, there are hundreds of emails, right before logging out, he receives a private message from LanieLove, and that begins a friendship that will lead to text messages. Elena Slater, is Slay’s baby sister, she is a labor and delivery nurse, works at a women’s shelter, and has an interest in BDSM. She comes to The Club, but Slay, working there, is so overprotective. Blake and Elena get along like oil and vinegar, where she is rather belligerent to him in conversations. Elena was active on a BDSM blog that catered to submissives called SubHaven, and she knew that LadyHaven died from cancer, but the website is still active, and many people still use the forum. The plot will have two people who don’t originally get along in person, discovering they have been communicating via a blog and text. What happens when they discover that who they interact with by text, is the one person that riles them up in person? Elena teeters on a fine line of strong will and being able to submit. “I didn’t ask you to submit I told you that you were getting a spanking.” When trouble comes in the form of a new church making threats
Steamy dominant alpha males not afraid to do what it takes to protect those they love - highly recommend this box set!

This is the complete series (7 stories), plus one novella to wrap everything up for the most part. There are still enough outstanding characters introduced, that future stories could be authored if desired.
These stories center around a BDSM club, called incidentally The Club, set in a couple of locations with Boston. All of the characters are introduced before their stories, with the exception of the first one obviously. 😊. The men for the most part are rough around the edges, protective, and quite a few come from troubled pasts (gangs, mafia, military service in wartime, etc.) and the women have their own set of trauma (some childhood abuse / neglect, orphaned, etc.).
I am trying to be a little careful so I don’t accidentally provide any spoilers, so sorry if it seems a little sparse on details.
At the center of all of the stories are men who live on the edge of society doing what they can to protect others and the innocent from those that would do them harm, all the while finding their HEA. They find peace, forgiveness, love and family through dominant and submissive roles (typical and non-typical stereotypes).
The story universe is very well defined, and after reading multiple stories in the series that connects and demonstrates the values and core beliefs of the characters, it felt like a world I wish I lived in.
I gave this series 4 stars because there are a couple of areas in the various stories that had incorrect / missing information (inconsistent time lines, repetitive information, etc.). While I was able to easily able to engage back with the story, it distracted from the story. If these were placed with an editor, or beta reader for grammatical and content feedback, then I can see 5 stars from most readers.
I just finished the Boston Doms box set of 7 novels plus a bonus novella. This is a series of related books, each of which can be read as a standalone, but are a little more enjoyable to read them as a series. It's always hard to date a box set or an anthology, because it's only natural to like some of them better than others. His Babygirl was my least favorite for two reasons. I didn't think the Daddy Dom relationship fit the personality of the characters involved in my opinion; and although I liked Slay in the earlier and later books, I thought his own story took him way past a Dom secretly watching over his desired sub and into creepy stalker guy territory. My other squick is that some of these gals gave themselves over to the control of their Doms way too early in their relationships. I do understand that in the interest of developing a plot line, things often happen much more quickly than in real life. Despite the criticisms, this is set well worth reading.
This anthology of stand alone stories builds and flies from one story to the next. It really pays to read them in order as each story follows in the same timeline and, although it's not absolutely necessary, it enhances each story when you know the protagonists as well as the various subcharacters and their histories.
Some of the characters are related by blood, others by friendship and business. But given that most have come from somewhat difficult pasts, their connection becomes one of a large and devoted family. The men are all dominant, many coming from a military background, and the women, although submissive in their relationships, are still strong and independent.
This was an enjoyable read; the storylines and characters are well developed and interesting. But if you're looking for more BDSM activity than control and spankings, you will not get much of that from these books. But whether you buy the set of get them through KU, you're going to certainly get your money's worth.
Really enjoyed reading these, loved the way the books feed into each other, different pairings within the group with an underlying storyline line running through them, each being individual. The characters are strong, you really get yo feel you know them as they appear throughout all the books, building on each other, taking you through the groups lives. You get to see their futures as you read on. For me this makes the series, I like u o understand what is happening in the lives of the main characters in the first book as so on. These are a really good read, you won't be disappointed.
This box set is a must have. I was so glad to add this to my collection. The Doms and their Subs are awesome. I couldn't put it down once I started. I kept saying just one more chapter, and before I knew it I was up all night. I couldn't get enough. I thought I would be able to pick my fave character and book in the series but there is just now way to choose. I can't wait to reread the series, and I just finished.
This is an absolute wonderful box set of stories. Each book centers around a couple and their journey together in a D/s relationship. Every book has their own feel to it, because each couple has individual needs and wants and struggles to overcome, but they are beautifully written with lots of emotions and HEA. It will leave you wanting for more and cheer up up when you are down.
It is a must have box set. You will only regret not reading it.
I feel in love with series a while back, after reading My Dom. And recently acquired the boxset. The story is compelling and what really got me was that the women portrayed in this series are all strong independent women. I found the character development to be complex. I can't say enough about this series. I found points in the books where I count help but laugh, cry, or groan. All in all I truly enjoyed every word.
I love this set, it grabs you and just hold on for dear life. I love the way the writers introduce you to the characters and then go on to tell each couples story. Then you continue to see the characters throughout the different stories...I did not want it to end.
This is the first time reading these authors, and I will definitely be reading more! I wasn't sure i liked the whole "daddy" thing, but they found a way to make it hot!
Holy smokes this boxset was absolutely fantastic and each story was fantastic and the storylines flowed from the beginning until the end and I was absolutely drawn into them and loved these men.
I love this series, it's so kinky, but also non repetitive, very fresh with surprisingly different characters, well described and with really unexpected connections. Definitely an adult series
What an amazing box set. Full of wonderful spanking and BDSM. Each book tells of a couple finding their love through sad, happy and dangerous times. Well worth the read and enjoyed every minute.
Amazing series of books, just wished there was a 8th book on a reunion get together to show what everyone been up to and if they still with the same people.
I had read all of these individually but wanted to reread as the box set... Excellent reads if you have not ever read them.. If my memory serves me it is 5 books and some wonderful ladies who find themselves in Need of their Dom's .. Enjoy and all excellent books.. I took my time reading so this is why took me awhile to finish :)
Really liked this series. It wasn't just BDSM, there were real stories for each of the couples. While the books each had characters from a prior story they could all be read as a stand-alone. One story I did not read but intend to go back later and complete it. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone with this type of reading interest.
