I write as Marion McKinnon Crook (Always Pack a Candle: A Nurse in the Cariboo) and as Emma Dakin. Hazards in Hampshire: a British Book Tour Mystery has flown out from Camel Press under my cozy mystery name, Emma Dakin. The second book Crime in Cornwall is happily entertaining readers. The third Perils in Yorkshire was released in 2021 and Danger in Edinburgh is out October 2022. We have two more books featuring the tour guide Claire Barclay after that. I am busy with all the promotional material that goes with producing a book. Perils in Yorkshire is available in paperback, ebook and audio. Audio is a new experience for me and my character sounds so English! Well, she is English.
My non-fiction memoir Always Pack a Candle: A Nurse in the Cariboo-Chilcotin was released in June 2021 by Heritage House Publishing and has been on the BC Bestsellers list since July 2021. Astounding!
