My littlest sister (she's six) picked this book out at the library. She's recently fallen in love with the cute animals on cover, young girl with vet parents genre of shorter chapter books and I must say - I love this phase! I read this one to her and it was pretty good. I assume it's one of those series where every book is the same sort of premise expect replace red fairy with green fairy or giraffe with panda but I'm not complaining. I used to love those sort of series myself and seeing my sister get as excited as me about going to the library, looking through the shelves, admiring covers, getting me to read descriptions so she can decide if she's interested or not, finding authors and series she particularly likes and asking me about what I'm reading (apparently regency romance sounds boring, haha) is the best thing ever.
