#1482 in our old book database. Rated: Good.

Pooh and his friend are getting ready for a party and count the items that are included in their preparations, e.g., three pots of honey and four bags of carrots.

This little board book and the others in the same series were among my daughter's favorite books when she was a toddler. She would "read" them herself over and over and make me read them to her again and again. It speaks to the quality of Lisa Ann Marsoli's rhymes that I never got sick of this book no matter how many times I read it aloud. And I still enjoy it.

I look forward to rereading the rest of the series this week.

(My Pooh Project: I love Winnie the Pooh, and so does my wife. Having a daughter gave us a chance to indoctrinate her into the cult by buying and reading her every Pooh book we came across. How many is that? I’m going to count them this year by reading and reviewing one every day and seeing which month I finally run out. Track my progress here:

Fritz knows his Winnie the Pooh. He was able to pick out all the characters as we read this together. He seems eager to read these days.

It's a counting board book, which is appropriate for the two-year old.
