A well-organized and very thorough book showing photos of Victorian artists and artists' world (wives, models, benefactors..) many from the collection of the author. An introduction to each section. A brief intro for each person, frequently a citation of some contemporary’s encounter with this artist, and one, sometimes more, photographs.
