This is the first in a brand new series of FULL LENGTH inspirational Christian historical western romance novels about the Buchanan family of ranchers.
Another unique take on MOB stories and one I think will hold throughout this series. She is a MOB but the groom is not completely set upon her arrival. In fact, in this story Zane was about as “unset” and upset as he could be. Inspiration is a pretty little town in Montana and filled with good people. But there is an evil there on two legs who has no intention of fulfilling his conquest to own the town, and own the land surrounding it. Zane Buchanan and his family are just as determined that this won't happen. And the MOB is right in the middle of it all.
I can't wait till the other books are ready to be read. I can't wait to see how Mr. Calhoun gets taken in by the sheriff. He needs to get what he deserves for his behavior. Thank you for allowing me to be able to read your book. Waiting patiently for the other books in the series.
This book was very slowww moving. I fought to keep reading it and even skipped a few pages only to find I never missed a detail. Hoping the 2nd book in this series is better but based on this book, I don't recommend it. The one positive thing is that it's a clean romance....
Johanna and Zane don't seem to be able to come to terms with their forecasted wedding. They have trials with several twists and turns, there is always their happy ending.
This was a decent story that grabbed you from the beginning. I do think the story could have been written better or had a better development overall. I do plan on reading the second book.
The story was entertaining enough though I could tell ahead how it was headed. This author writes well though some expressions were outdated. It was clean and honored God.
This was a good story but there were way to many typos making it hard to read. The author must make sure to proofread, and not Spellcheck, her books to get future readers satisfied.
I have for some reason started at the middle of this series of stories, I have already read the last five books in the set. I'm enjoying the first of the stories now. I look forward to reading them.
It is so good to read a book that gives God praise. I love the books about the old west, and how they coped with the lack of the items we take for granted. At least 90 percent gave God credit for their lives. Amen
Communication is critically important in a relationship and it seemed that miscommunication almost destroyed the budding romance between the two main characters. But the truth wins out. Can't wait to read Stirling's next book.
