Interesting interpretation of a Poe poem

Author Matt Larcom, in this work, took an Edgar A. Poe (one of my absolute favorite authors!) poem, "Annabel Lee", and turned it into a short story. Very clever, Mr. Larcom!

For those not really into poetry, this is an inventive way to get the gist of the poem in a simple, quick, easy-to-read and understand format. This book seems geared toward younger readers but already loving Poe's writing, I enjoyed it.

Totally enchanted!

Thank you, Mr Larcom, for bringing us this beautiful, tragic-romantic story and poem by Edgar Allan Poe which has touched my heart so deeply!

Like yourself, I love writing, reading (and chocolate!) and have recently come into a knowledge of his poetry as well as his familiar stories! What a treasure, especially Annabel Lee!

Best wishes,
