Rate this book
Anissa is a head trauma ER doctor at BMC. When Jaison Jennings is whisked into her care as a victim of crime her life becomes a total whirlwind. As much as Anissa wants to separate herself from this man, he continuously charms her and holds no punches while trying to make her his. Even with constant reminders from her friends that he’s no good for her, Anissa still doesn’t take heed to their warnings. Eventually she finds herself in too deep and unable to get herself out of some risky situations. Loving Jaison becomes a battle and Anissa is unsure of what to do next. 1st read by this author. This was a pretty good beginning to series. While Anissa & Jaison's initial meeting was not under the best circumstances, it was meaningful. Good storyline as these 2 went thru unexpected drama & I'm hoping the situation gets better for them in next part

Pretty good

This was a pretty good read especially to say it's her first book she write better than a lot of authors who been at it for a while. What I liked most about this book is her character development she took her time with letting her readers getting to know her characters I also like the fact that anissa and Jaison relationship wasn't rushed. Although a few parts was slow I look forward to reading part two.
