Oh, Mac Rutherford. This sad Yankee little girl who loves ghosts picked up your book because that's her thing: She visits a town, picks up a collection of the local ghost lore. The sad thing is, the most unbelievable part of this "book" wasn't the ghost stories.

I can't get into something that calls The Civil War "The War for Southern Independence," nor one that paints John Brown as "sinister." Frankly, I find it shameful that these ridiculous types of statements still exist in 2013.

While I enjoyed the stories, and the telling of them, the author made a few comments that were very off-putting, such as calling the Civil War the "War for Southern Independence." It still bothers me quite a lot. But aside from that, the stories were interesting.
