Woefully abstract, In desperate need of examples, and has born out as completely wrong in the 3 decades since written in its predictions about tendencies away from prison incarceration and the notion that “capitalism poses a threat to the continued existence of the state.” Also its treatment of transition to capitalism purely asserts a fatalism of evolutionary socialism and doesn’t even consider question of revolution. He also talks quite a bit about “Marxist-Christian” stuff that to me read like substance-less nonsense.
