I'm a British author of contemporary and (recent) historical fiction, but have recently taken a detour into non-fiction by writing the official BBC Holby City tie-in book, 'Holby City: Behind the Screen.'

My new novel 'Half A World Away' (set in East Berlin before the Wall came down) is published by The Dome Press.

I'm currently working on a mystery/thriller set in the fashion world of 1960s London.

Really interesting look behind the scenes of one of my favourite TV shows and one of the BBC's most successful dramas of recent times. Loved the interview style of this book as it kept it quite quick paced and didn't allow it to drag at all. Loved finding extra little titbits about my favourite characters as well as some of the behind the camera team such as directors and script editors. Really really good.

As a fan of Holby City I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, getting an insight to not only the actors/characters but the behind the scenes staff too who we equally important to making such a great show.
Sue is obviously a big fan of the show too as the way she talks fondly throughout the whole book made it feel like I was there with her.
If you are a Holby City fan this is a must read book.
I would love her to do a casualty book in the future.
