June 27, 2019I had to read this for my Masters Degree Core Reading List. I like Gavin Reid's perspectives about dyslexia. His focus is very much on what we can do to support learners in the classroom. An educational problem needs an educational solution - I think that's a key idea.
I learned much more about some of the programmes that I have heard about and realise that my own practice as a specialist teacher fits closely with the principles that are promoted by O-G.
I am interested in finding out much more about Reciprocal Teaching and Dynamic Assessment after reading this book.

Esmu gatava gatavot prezentāciju Latvijas Disleksijas biedrībai par to, kā es mēģināju saprast, kas notiek mana dēla galvā. Pamatīga lasāmviela.
