The layout of this book is nonsensical. It jumps right from basic algebra in chapter 1 to quadratics (pretty advanced / obscure stuff) in chapter 2. Then it jumps back to other basics, ping-ponging in random order. There's almost no strategy taught (like when & how to guess, timing strategies, testing numbers, etc). It's all just like "here are the rules" without putting them into the context of the larger test. There are very few practice problems, and no mixed sets. On the real thing, topics will be all mixed up, so there should be at least some mixed sets to practice with.
I know this review is supposed to be about the book and not their online stuff, but I also want to add that the practice tests that come with purchasing the books are TERRIBLE. Nothing at all like the real test - totally different question styles, and the scoring is WAY off. And they look like they were made with MS Paint circa 1996. I'm really underwhelmed with this whole company.
