All aspects of materials science relevant to the practice of dentistry are covered in this textbook. It is aimed primarily at undergraduate dental students, although parts will be useful for practising dentists, dental technicians and dental surgery assistants. The new edition has been extensively revised to include the many advances in dental materials that have occurred during the past eight years, and includes new chapters on glass-ionomers and resin-modified glass-ionomers. The sections on dental adhesives and ceramics in particular have been expanded significantly. In addition, the scope has been widened to cover the clinical handling of materials.

Good book for dental students, although it could use a nice splash of color. I have to highlight bits and pieces of it so it's looks pretty and engaging :)
