Backyard Pearls: Cultivating Wisdom and Joy in Everyday Life

Rate this book
In more than 80 essays, life and writing coach Carolyn Scarborough shows us how to instantly transform everyday life into an adventure by finding our pearls — moments of beauty, wisdom and joy. She says we don’t have to travel far to find them. All we need to make us happy is right in our own backyards, tucked away in everyday activities such as packing school lunches or washing the dog. It’s simply a matter of waking up to what’s precious in every moment. With humor and compassion, she reveals how to appreciate whatever shows up… even if it leaves muddy footprints on the kitchen floor. For more details, go to www.backyardpearls.com.
