It’s ironic how we spend much of our life collecting items that eventually become a burden to us or to our loved ones when we pass on. Not wanting to be that little old lady surrounded by useless clutter, I began taking a few organizing classes this past decade. Plus, I have read a lot of good information about the subject. Yet, this book, “Lose Your Stuff Find Yourself” by Lori Firsdon provides the best advice I have ever read. The reason is Firsdon sensitively addresses the emotional component that causes most of us to hold on to things we no longer need. I can’t explain how immensely I appreciated this book. Five stars plus. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #clutter #memories #stuff #organization #downsizing #organizing #emotional

The best advice I got from the book was to organize in small increments for only a few minutes at a time so as not to get overwhelmed. It does work!
