Published in 1977, 'Messerschmitt Bf109 at War' is one of many in this popular series of well illustrated volumes of personal accounts by those who flew and serviced this aeroplane. An otherwise enjoyable book is let down by many photo caption errors and some dubious anecdotes thatshould have been fact checked beforehand.
