My name is Shannon Layne, and I'm the author of the "He Said, She Said" series and the "Beverly Hills Prep" series, both by ABDO Publishing.

I graduated from UC Davis in 2014, and I was born and raised in Humboldt County, CA. I am currently engaged to my wonderful fiancee, Emily, and together we have a dog, Blue, and a cat, Peter Pants.

Some of my favorite authors are Pat Conroy, the ever-fabulous JK Rowling, Tamora Pierce, Nora Roberts, and Neil Gaiman, to name a few. I love to write YA fiction and look forward to hearing from my readers and answering any questions they may have! Follow me on Twitter and Instagram (links in my profile above) to keep up with me and see what's new.

This was a really good book there was a lot of good detail. My favorite character was Veronica, she was like a tom-boy and she is really cool. My favorite event is when they snuck out and played hid and seek on campus and tried not to get caught. It was in first person so it was like you were there but not really. It was quick and fast but there was a lot to tell in this story. She felt like her parents did not lover her enough to show up to any of her events and that's the same way I feel about my dad, he is always working. This is a really good book I definitely recommend it.

With this book I loved the way the author acted as if though the characters were truly alive.
