Very cute spooky book, but it ended abruptly.

Cute and creepy! I'm torn between it being a fantastic ending or an unsatisfactory one. I don't think it would be very satisfying for a kid, but based on its vibe, it was perfect.

What a creepy and charming little gem - scarier than many a much longer story, kind of a haiku of horror even though it's meant for quite young readers. Excellent illustrations too that go perfectly with the text. Love that ominous sign...

This was cute and creepy but the ending leaves something to be desired. I’m intrigued to read the rest of the books in this little series, though.

Cute and a little bit spooky! Great for kids transitioning from picture books to chapter books.
