Who thought that I would actually read an encyclopedia???!!!! Wll, I did! This book is laid out as an encyclopedia, with articles listed in the typical A thru Z manner and it is loaded with original pictures from WWI. Not only are specific individuals and battles listed, but so are the individual counties that participated as well as information concerning their declarations of war, their military units, and their propaganda initiative. The pictures of course, are the best part f the book. Seeing the actual equipment that was used during the war makes one wonder, how did they ever do it! Perfect for the historian, history buff, war buff or student seeking info on WWI!
