I was given a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. This book did not do it for me . The premise was interesting and the cover was amazing but it didn't live it up to the idea. The details for the world building needed more development to show how this specific supernatural world worked. The individual supernatural groups weren't explained well nor was the hierarchy mapped out. I wasn't sure who the "good" guys were or who the villains were and why. The main and secondary characters were not well developed or complex. I didn't connect with the main character. I didn't know why I should care about her, be scared for her, or be even understand her. I also felt like the characters did not act their ages. Being in their twenties and one in his hundreds, they should have been more mature, yet they acted like they were in their teens and made irrational decisions. Emotions and relationship were told to you, not shown. Unfortunately, this book suffered from most of the YA tropes, including Insta-love and they were not well done or believable. Overall, this book could have benefited from another round of editing to correct grammar, spelling, content, and flow.

This story has it all Vampires, Werewolves & Witches and of course a swoony forbidden romance.  Charlie is on the hunt for her farther who has been kidnapped by the notorious Santiago the head of the vampires and ex convent member.  With no clue to how to find Santiago she finally tracks down a hybrid who knows how to find him.  His name is cole and he is dripping with danger and seduction.  This story had me hooked from the first page.  The story flows along at a heart pounding pace and the author does a great job of juggling the various characters in play in the story.  I am eager to see where it goes.

Spellbound was definitely an interesting read. I like the idea of the story but I do feel like more time should have been spent developing the characters and going into some of the background of the characters. The book starts out really good but in the middle of the book I found myself trying to get through it because I was starting to lose interest. I also feel like there were characters introduced that came out of nowhere and didn't really seem to fully fit into the story.

Witches, Warlocks and Vampires
A bit of a jumble with a mixture of romance. Charlotte (Charlie) and Cole make quite a couple but nothing is easy. This is an interesting story and leaves the reader needing the next book. Nothing is settled at the end and there are a lot of loose ends to tie up.

An Entertaining Read. Vampires, Werewolves & Witches 😎🌛🐺🐾🔮📕

Charlie lost her Mum at quite a young age to an evil Vampire called Santiago. Her older brother, Ry, has always tried to protect her from their Dads coldness towards her!! He's very protective of her & when Charlie develops visions at age 14 and her Dad hits the roof & becomes verbally spiteful & cruel as he now views her as a liability, it's Ry that steps in to protect her from him & console her!!😢

Santiago is trying to unite enough Vampires throughout the World to take down The Covenant!! The Covenant is a secret organisations of powerful Witches & Warlocks that are determined to protect 'Humankind' from all things Supernatural.
Charlie & her family work for them although with their Dad keep running off after leads about Santiago, they aren't the most welcome of members!! 😕 Its while chasing one such lead that their Dad goes missing 😱

Searching for clues they're directed to New Orleans. They've been told one man has answers, Cole Mathieson!! He has secrets, he's stunningly handsome and entirely dangerous 🔥🔥 Charlie may be in danger 😳

I enjoyed this story & will read the rest of the trilogy to discover what happens!!😉 There were some surprises and shocks along the way. I look forward to hearing more from the Werewolf Pack 👍🐺🐾 Charlie & Cole will make a formidable team I think, once they both get stronger. I want to know if the 'Curse' is still in effect!?!😳😳 A good job by this new Author 🌟
