The 1920s and 30s saw a rise in the ideas of fascism and its Nazism offshoot around the world. The apparently amazing successes of Mussolini and Hitler in taking struggling nations toward strength and steadiness, especially during the depths of the Great Depression got many peoples' attention. It was certainly no different in the US.

And like many debunked political theories, even today we see hard-core believers who cling to the basic principals of the theories of Nazism, fascism, communism, etc., etc.

This book, though a bit dry and clunky, does make a solid effort to trace Nazism, its adherents, and its collaborators in America. Not as good as it could have been, but still not a bad effort.
