About the author

Linzi Baxter hails from Bismarck, North Dakota, but currently lives in Orlando, Florida. She received her bachelor’s degree in information technology from the University of Central Florida and is currently in the process of earning her MBA from the same university.

Baxter works as an IT Manager for the local government and spends her free time playing with her basset hound, watching college sports, traveling to Europe’s great cities, and reading romance. It was that last passion that inspired her to write her debut novella, Hacker Exposed.

I was never more thrilled than when I accidentally discovered this series by the great Linzi Baxter. I figured I'd read one and then when time permitted complete the others.... SMH.... Yup, that's so NOT what happened LOL. After maybe reading a chapter of HACKER EXPOSED, I knew i was done for, and was in for the long haul. So I gathered my blanket, put my cell on mute, grabbed a cup of tea and dove right in. My word how i enjoyed each and every book...I'm currently looking forward to the next release coming soon. I adore these strong, independent women who dont just wait around for a knight in shining armor. Unbeknown to their bosses and most friends two of the main characters are actually twins, and act like they've never even met. Both are highly successful in what they do. In the first book we meet Bridget ...she heads up a white hat hacker company (meaning they're the good guys hunting the bad guys) ...what she doesn't know is her past is fast a knocking by way of this new client. Alex Ross desperately need help discerning WHO and HOW is stealing money from his families company. Bridget and his family were very close in childhood... Until the authorities believe her father lost a HUGE part of the Ross savings in a pyramid sceme. From then on Bridget, her sister and mother changed their names and moved from place to place and leaving the guy she'd been crushing on behind. This time around, with a little help from his father who found this young white hat hacker to help (knowing the entire time who she was *wink*....ahhhh meddling parent eh?)... They desperately need to find WHERE a million dollars vanished and who was behind it. He definitely wasn't expecting to run into his childhood friend who he'd had feelings for long ago. Can these two put past issues aside and find the culprit? Danger lurks around every corner and these two MUST trust to finish the endgame...and maybe get a bonus in the end. This, and all the books in this series are FUN and fast paced gems. You will definitely find yourself cheering for certain people along the way!

Which leads us to book 2 ROYAL HACKER. I fully admit this is one of my faves!!!! Here we meet Patty and her twin Jessica.... both are independent, strong, modern women... Yet looks can be deceiving. Jessica is in an emotionally and sometimes physically abusive relationship that he hides from everyone. Even though she's at the top of her industry and works for an extremely influential company. Her beloved sister Patty is convinced the lying rat of a Brother in law is also cheating on her amazing sister. Come heck or high water she WILL bring him to his knee nd prove his treachery! The fact these women are so confident is amazing as they've each been kidnapped and tortured in their lives. Mainly because of who they are... Unknown to even their closest friends they're next in line to the throne of Shialia. Meanwhile Patty is actually the boss and owner of where she works... Nobody knows who the boss really is... For. Fun she just acts as one of the white hats trying to help others through her talent. Except right now she feels her sis will best be helped with this service. Imagine her shock entering a BDSM Club after trailing her dirt bag of a brother in law. Things only get that much MORE interesting when this lil sprite of a woman decks him in full view of everyone LOL. though most at said club also don't like the skeeze... There ARE rules, and rules are rules. This gorgeous Adonis of a man approaches her and picks her up and stops her from continuing to wail on said dirt bag LOL. And so her new world starts.... Take the ride and see what happens to these amazing people. A wonderful world of great friends and family who have each others backs no matter what. See how they escape or evade the continuous danger(s) that enter their lives... Soooooo many things happen in all of these books. I promise you will NOT be bored or disappointed. Dive right in and take the ride of your life.

By the time you reach the last page of the last book you MIGHT just be lucky enough to see the next release is available . BOOK 4: UNDERCOVER HACKER is currently set for release on April 17, 2018!! In for one can't wait to see what craziness happens in this new book!!! I DO own all of these books.. I didnt get them in this box set version as it hadn't been around at the time. However I do indeed own all these brilliant and exciting books.

I love this entire series and this is the perfect way to either start the series or keep them together if you are already a fan of Linzi's work With her white hat security series she brings to life men and women who have their own personal demons but when they find the one that is meant for them then things start to get a whole lot better Do yourself a favour and read the entire series I will review each book separately

This is thestory of how Bridget Smith reinvented herself after her father tarnished her name with a pyramid scam a scam that drove her away from the Ross family she had always treated as family When she reconnects with Alex Ross when he calls her in to find out where the missing money from his family company not realising who she is And the rest as they say his history As these two fall in love and solve the mystery of the missing money

Patty will do whatever she needs to do to keep her sister safe and happy and she believes her sisters husband is cheating on her so she uses her skills as a white hat hacker to get to the bottom of it This leads her to a BDSM club and ex military man Sam One look and he knows that she is meant for him But there is more to Patty than anyone realises she is heir to the throne of Shialia and someone wants her eliminated from that position. Now Sam will have to step up to keep her safe and as the relationship between them grows he will have to ask himself is he willing to be the consort of a queen to keep the woman he loves
MISUNDERSTOOD HACKER
This is the story of Jessica the sister of Patty from the previous book sh has dumped her cheating husband and is trying to rebuild a life for herself but something isn't right she feels like she is been followed and someone is entering her home when she isn't there She brings in security specialist Brock McKenzie he will do whatever he needs to in an effort to keep her safe as he is starting to love the woman he is protecting But when her worst nightmare happens and she is kidnapped again he will do the unthinkable to get her back.

Easy flowing, intriguing and suspenseful, this novel is drama packed and complex with a double romance, conniving fathers, a happy ending, and a hook which leads you into a sequel.

Hacker and princess in hiding Patty meets Special Ops and now BDSM club owner Sam. The story is suspenseful and steamy with hints of BDSM and hints of violence intertwined with random facts provided by Patty's sister Jessica. This complex story has a few twists leading to a happy ending for one sister and a cliffhanger ending for the other.

Jennifer and Brock's story is steamy, action packed and full of violence aimed at Jessica.This book contains a lot of surprises a few of which include: a career change for Brock, Patty goes to visit her father for the birth of her baby, and the budding love affair of Neal and Daisy. Suspenseful and heartwarming with a bigger hint of BDSM than in Royal Hacker. The cliffhanger leads you away from the White Hat/Black Hat Security Agencies and Blackwood BDSM Club to further intrigue and promises of romance.

How is this in the top ten of the top 100 books?

The writing is so basic. (No offense to the author)
Everything is in your face.
In the first two chapters you get a smash bang every single problem in your face - super obvious plot points ect.

Can you picture this bs?

“As I stood from my chair, Alex was right next to me. He smelled so good. I might have brushed against him and taken a sniff. (She has a stalker blowing up her phone. She hasn’t seen this dude since her dad embezzled a ton of money from him and went to jail but she took a wiff)
He led me out of the restaurant with his hand on my lower back. My body got all tingly.”

They literally talked about how she and her family should have come to him after the dad went to jail so that they could help them financially.

Hard time getting into it

I REALLY wanted to like the first story in this collection, but there were so many seriously awful things that happened to the h that I just couldn’t. NOBODY has that kind of bad luck, they just don’t, and it began to feel like the story was just being continually stretched to fill a quota or something. By the end of the first story, I couldn’t even begin to take any interest in reading the others because the epilogue of the first story had such dark foreshadowing for yet another character that I gave up.

This boxed set surprised me, while there were elements in all three books that joined them together they were each different enough that they kept me both entertained and enthralled till the very end. Each story is very different to the next and rather than cookie-cutter HEA you have drama, laughter, stupidity ( theres always one in every bunch) but most of all connections both family and those ties that bind . Look forward to reading the next boxed set when time permits

Could have been 5 stars

There was a lot to like about these stories. Interesting plots with true suspense and danger. Romance and enough sexy times. But each story had the female be a perfect example of TSTL. Too Stupid To Live! They were in absolute mortal danger and yet kept ditching their bodyguards and going off alone. This is a pet peeve of mine and was so annoying. If you can overlook that, you will surely enjoy this book.

Good story yet poor dialog

I think these books have potential to be a five star read. The story lines are great ideas, but the writing itself is not very good. The author doesn’t take the time to fill in dialog and really develop her character’s personalities. She doesn’t take take time to describe the world they are in. It’s almost as if this is a bare bones structure for a story and the author never went back and filled in all the needed dialog to make this great.

smart girls do dumb things

I liked the women in these books but they did really dumb things that got them into big messes. I probably enjoyed the first book because the characters had known each other when younger and when they reconnected both had age and accomplishments in their favor. Books 2&3 center around aspects of BDSM environment. Not my thing but fairly mild.
I liked the characters and enjoy books where the characters have parts in the next books.

Nothing is easy when your a hacker.

This review is for all three books in the White Hat Security boxed set. I have given all three books four stars because they each were very interesting and kept me guessing till the end of what was going to happen. I have to say that Linzi wrote these books very well. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

So far this is an excellent series. I love the way Linzi writes her books. You have heat, but it's the story line and the meaning behind them that I like. These books I hadn't read yet. Bridget and Alex, and then the twin princesses. There is a lot of action, danger, kidnappings and the list goes on. Excellent reads.

Good, but

I loved a lot of this book but writing was sometimes careless. For example, H's family is described as super rich with old money but later he says his father started with nothing and built a billion dollar business. Simple character building errors drive me nuts. That said, I really liked h.

I read this box set within 24 hours. It was fast paced and I like the mix of romance and action.
It’s an easy read and well written.
I will definitely go on to read the rest of the series.
If you like romantic suspense without too much angst you will like this.
