English 300 is a language course geared toward establishing a foundation in learning English. Half of all spoken conversation is limited to only 100 words and just 300 words account for two thirds (65%) of most written material. Learning these words first in their order of frequency and especially how to use them in common situations will enable students desiring to learn English as a second or foreign language to become self-sufficient and firmly placed on the road to foreign or second language fluency.
