I remember reading this book as a child and really enjoying it. Now that I have reread it as an adult, I was not as impressed. Although the illustrations are colorful, they look like they were not completed with a great effort. Even though I did not enjoy the illustrations, the story line was very cute. The boy has a stuffed bunny rabit that he loves so much that it becomes very wore and dirty. When the mother bathes the bunny and it is still dirty, she wants him to get a new bunny rabbit toy. The boy tells his bunny not to worry because he doesn't want any other bunny. Most children will experience something similar to this, so it is a good book for those children. I wish the book would have ended differently, because everything the mother was trying to enforce fell through at the end when the boy didn't get a new bunny or give away his old one. I wish he would have given his old bunny rabbit to a child with no toys and bought a new bunny. Nonetheless, the book is filled with love and positive emotions.
