I would highly recommend this series of books to any teacher or person wanting to learn more about American history. The only down side to these easy to follow books on history are the occassional picture of text or old documents - that are not ledgable to read in the photograph. Hopefully newer verisons of a similar series do not make such a mistake (Encyclopedia of Presidents - this series was done in 1987.)
