“The Vampire King's Cage” is a wonderfully written story that kept me turning the pages. Belinda Green is a beautiful human bounty hunter turned assassin. She knows nothing about the king, just that he is her target. King Carlos a handsome, benevolent king has helped many people in and around his kingdom. Why does the Guild want him dead? Who put a contract on the King? Things do not go as planned and Belinda is soon captured. The king is smitten with her and sees her as his true mate. After a wild night of sex Belinda finds herself pregnant. Impossible unless she is part fae. Being pregnant is bad enough but now a demon-fae seeking revenge on Carlos wants to kill his unborn child. Can Carlo's keep pregnant Belinda safe? Although there are some unanswered questions, “The Vampire King's Cage” is still a fun, quick entertaining read. I highly recommend this story.

Confusion reigns in the Vampire King's Cage
T.S. Ryder's The Vampire King's Cage has a number of distinctive features:
1. A confusing and disorganized plot, with no backstory and inconsistent details.
2. Characters who lack distinct identities - Is King Carlos fae or vampire? The author can't seem to decide what defines a fae, a vampire, a demon, or who has what kind of powers. And is Belinda an assassin or a bounty hunter? What is the difference?
3. Mindless insta-lust, ridiculous instant pregnancy, an ever-growing fetus and the worst amateur C-section ever.
4. Stilted dialogue and bizarre conversations in the middle of sex.
5. No attempt at consistent world-building - outside of locating Carlos' kingdom next to Oregon.
Bottom line? This is just plain awful. I'm reviewing an ARC, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Belinda and Carlos have a strong attraction when they first meet. Neither realizes how much that first encounter will change everything for them.
Belinda is supposed to kill the Vampire King and is quite surprised when it turns out to be her lover. from the other night. Finding out she is also pregnant is another shock.
Now, Carlos has to protect the woman who was sent to kill him if he wants his child to live. There is danger for them all as he has a deadly enemy.
It is a really good read and the story moves fast. I liked the characters a lot. Carlos is a really good leader and a good person who wants to do the right thing. He knows Belinda is the one for him and is very forgiving of her initial plan to kill him. They have a great connection and you definitely feel the heat.

This is a excellent & intriguing book to read and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. What you will find in this book is: vampires, bounty hunters, assassins, enemies, demons, fae, guilds, drama, suspense, magic, combat/fighting, emotional conflict, danger, abduction, lust, love and mild erotic scenes. I found the story-line to be well thought out and written. The characters have emotional feelings according to the situation they find themselves in. I would recommend this book to people who like to read a well-written vampire romance.

A sexy Vampire King and an Assassin
This was a good storyline with interesting characters...you have Belinda the assassin who is supposed to kill the Vampire King! But she doesn't even know what he looks like and isn't to sure why she's supposed to kill him...but it's a job. Will she kill him and go back to the Guild? And what happened to that hot vampire she had sex with? I enjoyed this story!

Short hot story, about her having on thing to do, kill the king.
But the evening before it she is rescued by a hot vampire and they are having a wild night together.
The next day she finds out this hot vampire is the king and she pregnant of his baby.
To make it even more interesting there is a demon on the loose trying to kill the king too.
Like the reference in the bedroom to the Queen song, made me smile.

What happens when the sexy stranger from the night before turns out to be your target? That's what Belinda is about to find out. King Carlos has finally found the woman for him...now if he can keep her from killing him. This was a great story-line. I enjoyed both Carlos and Belinda.

I started out liking this book. Bad ass assassin, vampires, Fae, villians awesome right but then the end gets cheesy. It just ruined the whole book for me. I love a good HEA but the dialogue of the assassin at the end just seemed as if it was a different character entirely.

The Vampire King’s Cage is an impossible to put down vampire love story. It’s a short action packed book with enough differences from the usual vampire books to keep it interesting. Main characters Carlos and Belinda have a believable connection and the surrounding world is well drawn also. I received an arc of this story and voluntarily left an honest review.

King Carlos meets his match in a very different sort of way...Belinda tries to kill him, just a few hours after they met and fell in bed together, neither knowing who the other was. This puts a kink in both of their plans.

Demons, vampires, and assassins. There is a lot of action in this story and it was good. The story flowed well and the side characters added a lot of nuance and interest.

There are bonus stories in here.
These books are all paranormal themes. Shifters, vampires and a ghost. They have action and some steamy scenes. The first one is a mystery I like a lot. The Vampire King's cage was the one I liked the least. I found it confusing . Overall, I liked this book.

I recieved this ARC for my honest review. One of TS Ryder's best books. I have read a lot of TS Ryder and even though they had a HEA, it felt unfinished. This book was so good, It was exciting, dangerous, sexy, and had a sexy hero and a strong female character. Belinda was human, and worked for 'the guild' she took her orders from them. Now she was suppose to kill the vampire king. Not an easy task when you do not know what he looks like, but she never failed. A bit of trouble on the way, a rescue by a hot vampire, no big deal. Until its time to do what she must do. He looks very familiar. Truly a good book. King Carlos is king of his territory and can't get Belinda out of his head, and there she is, in his home trying to kill him. The connection is powerful, they can work this out. Belinda can not kill the man she has fallen for. But that is the least of their problems. evil has escaped and wants Carlos and Belinda. Carlo's will fight for his love to the death. A great HEA that brings the story full circle.

Parts of this were good. I like the idea of a heroine who is confident and can think on the fly. It has a lot of action.
However, it is very disjointed. There is no back story to help hold the story together at the beginning. The words Guild, vampire, fae, etc. are just thrown out there for us to make sense of. The vampire king is also fae, which is confusing. Insta lust leads to the major plot point. Belinda acclimates to the major changes in her life awfully fast, without asking as many questions as she should have.
I liked Finley. Sounds like she's going to be the cool "aunt" to their kids.
The version I had was only 62 pages, so the release version may have bonus stories.

Have completely mixed feelings about this book! On one hand the book is packed with action, after action, after action and the other part of me says there is too much action!
The book seems squashed with so much going on that the story keeps jumping and never quite finishing; leaving me continuously wanting to, and at times, re reading parts thinking I have missed a paragraph.
It’s quite a conundrum really as the story and characters are brilliant, with intrigue, betrayal, passion, revenge and surprises.
I definitely liked the book; I just didn’t feel like I had read the whole story.

Another great paranormal read by T.S. Ryder. Belinda is sent to kill King Carlos who is a Vampire as well as a Fae. When she meets a man at a bar who helps protect her from other creatures of the night, they have a sexy, steamy and hot night together. Needless to say, she doesn't realize it's the king until she gets into his castle the next day. When she finds out that she is unexpectedly pregnant will she be able to go through her mission or will the Guild come for her because she will fail. You'll have to read the book to find out. This book is very entertiaining and sexy.

Thrilling action packed and full of surprises. When a person is forced to go in and kill the King and finds herself in a very hot situation, how in the world are you suppose to get yourself out without being killed by the people who sent you there in the first place. This book is out of this world and recommend it to all those who love a good vampire book.

I liked the story. It was funny and had a few great scenes. Once I started I read it in one sitting giggling most of the time. Plus the story is more centered on the plot then the fact that The king is a vampire. I found Belinda easy to like. Had a few sexy scenes but not too nasty. So a perfect to read on a lunch break. Just enough back story to make the plot interesting. Another good easy book by Ryder.

A great vampire story. It's a fast-paced romance with wonderful characters and a storyline that will captivate you right from the beginning. Belinda and Carlos have sizzling chemistry but Belinda was given he mission to assassinate Carlos, the vampire King. Lots of action and twists and turns!
