The main focus of this book on Ecuador is really ecological, and I commend that. The author describes the damages of the oil industry, of agriculture and pesticides, of overfishing and deforestation.

Helpful, fairly short. Informative. Good info. A little dated, but that is OK. Good to get an insight before my first trip to Ecuador in a month!
