I enjoyed "A Day in the Life of a Baseball Player" by Eric Arnold. I thought the book gave a clear and engaging look into what a typical day is like for a professional baseball player, from practice to game time. The illustrations and step-by-step structure made it easy to follow along and helped readers better understand the time and dedication that goes into the sport. I also liked how the book highlights teamwork, discipline, and responsibility in a way that younger readers can relate to and learn from. For these reasons, I would recommend that this book be read in a lower to upper elementary classroom like grades K–5. As a future teacher, I would include this book in my classroom library and use it to connect to lessons about careers, teamwork, and goal setting, especially for students interested in sports. Even for the boys in my class who ill very much be interested in baseball.
