Bite-Sized Science: Activities for Children in 15 Minutes or Less

Rate this book
Here’s a fun way to get young minds discovering the wonders of the natural world by making predictions, testing them, and then evaluating the results—learning the scientific method. These short, bite-sized, deliciously fun activities like "Sounds of Chewing," "Clinks in the Kitchen," "Tangy Tongue," and "Shoe Show" take only 15 minutes to organize, do, and clean up. Many of the activities involve food, so children will learn and get a snack at the same time.

Great collection of easy to do and quick to implement ideas for early childhood science- a must have addition to any classroom. What to do, what you need, facts, development markers, quotes too. All black and white- would have been even better with some color.... but a great book none the less

A great way to fit fun little science projects into the day. It also served as a springboard for other on-the-fly science experiments we did together, like how a marshmallow changes in hot cocoa, the toaster oven, and the freezer. Easy and fun things to do for preschoolers. LOVE IT!
