1. No Awards.
2. Grade Level: 3-5
3. This Book is about the culture and way of life of the Nigerian people. With many pictures and captions to capture the reader, students easily learn the interesting facts of day-to-day life in Nigeria.
4. I enjoyed this book due to its use of informational pictures of the people and the objects that they use everyday. From yam parties and fishing festivals, students are able to see what Nigeria and their culture are all about.
5. In Class Uses: Students would gather in differentiated groups according to their reading levels and study the various linguistic groups by researching where they live, what they grow, what they wear and what they eat. With their findings, they then answer a series of questions in a given workbook.
