The Living Dream Society

Rate this book
The heroine travels to Thailand for a reason. To meet up with her boyfriend, well, her open relationship partner, and convince him that she was the one for him. Instead, she ended up meeting all of these crazy drugged up people, and figuring out that the world is a really interesting place to be alive in. Also, she met someone.
Someone named Johnathan.
He turned out to be someone different from what she expected, but that's okay.
That's what this story is all about. Dreams, and fulfilling them. Here or in another realm.
Just remember - your life might be a dream or your dream might your life. Freaky, right?

Trippy, man. I found out about this book because I follow the author's YouTube channel. I wasn't expecting it to be so multi-layered or I didn't know what to expect. It kept me on my toes. It's hard to explain the genre so just read for yourself.
Criticisms: There were parts that could be more concise or grammatical but stylistically, it's better than a lot of Wattpad writers, even if the writer may or may not have learned English as a very first language. It flowed very naturally.
There was a great self-awareness theme and aspect. "Is this just a grittier version of Eat, Pray, Love?" Paraphrased. It's a little bit of travel, drama, romance, and sci-fi. It doesn't matter what genre it is, but it made me feel open to new experiences, real or imagined. If you are a writer, there are parts that encourage you to weave another dream world of your own. If you are not a writer, it encourages you just to live life.
