Although I don't go to the Library anymore it was my absolute favorite place to visit as a child. I could spend hours in there. Whether it was the immense New York City Public Library or our small town library--according to my Mom--once in one it was very hard to get me to leave. The title then the premise of this short story got to me. The very thought of no libraries puts me in a sweat!! And even though I can no longer read hard cover or print books very easily unless I get the LARGE PRINT-I am able to read online--which as every one knows--I do!!

This is in the not too distance future and all libraries are closed--the only books are held by individuals who will share them on occasion. Dorine, an ex-librarian meets up with the father of the boy whose kitten she found. The father is trying to build a library and he would like Dorine to be the librarian.

Unfortunately there are people who do not want the printed word in books---and there is a bit of a problem that occurs--but have no fear---alls well that ends well (Shakespeare, I believe).
