Hithuvani, now an IPS officer, recalls her past experiences with a dangerous drug dealer Chand. As she goes on a quest to find Chand and to bring an end to his terror, she goes back in past to her college days, to her first found love and how she came to be a police officer in the end.
Will she be able to finally fight Chand and bring justice or the wait will continue?

The narration is done in easy and simple words and the story maintains a fluidity all throughout. The main protagonist is a lady and the way her independent ideology is portrayed is worth a mention.

The suspense part could have been better and the story had certain loopholes. The suspense almost felt rushed.

An ordinary story with old-school romance clubbed with thriller and action lead by a female protagonist.

#WRITING_N_NARRATION: First of all you will not feel a single time while reading this book that it is a debut novel! I mean the fluidity in writing...the perfect time lapses..the thrill and suspense and how to forget the love! It will make you ride through the journey gracefully🙌 I love the first person narration.

#CHARACTERS: Being a strong woman myself I adore those 'male' writers who depicts such a powerful female protagonist! Hithuvani is independent, strong, determined but also has a lady side..which deals with inner feelings and get scared! Author has used emotions as his best tool🙌

Wait continues is the debut novel of the author Varadh Krishna. It is a less intense young adult suspense thriller revolves around the life of Hithuvani IPS, her past and her quest in her IPS life.
Hithuvani with his colleagues goes for a mission to find a criminal Chand to Chharabra.There she gets all her past flashbacks about her love of her life, the innocent love affair between young Hithuvani and Joyce. She has to deal with her past as it is intertwined with her case.
The story wait continues is thrilling as well as a romantic comedy , so we get all the thrilling suspense, humour and romance which keeps the readers hooked to the book. I loved how innocent and pure the connection between Hithuvani and Joyce is. Their fun moments is potent enough to bring all the good teen memories of the readers. I enjoyed the rural family life shown here, friendship and how they went on with their life being strong from all the past they had to endure.
I felt the end a bit filmy but still enjoyed reading the happy ending. The book is a total package with romance, comedy, suspense and action.
Definitely a good read and will recommend this one to all.

Phenomenal narration of Hithuvani’s story!! Twists and turns, angst and sweet love between Hithu and joy will make you long for more.
And what an ending!! Got caught into the book by Varadh!! Highly recommended.. I promise you won’t be disappointed!!
