Five days till the wedding and Maggie is stressed out. With so much to plan for and get done before the magic hour, she is happy everyone is pitching in.
Isaac is focused on her happiness, and when an issue comes up, threatening to ruin the wedding he takes it upon himself to make it right.
Because Maggie is his world and no one treats her like a second class citizen. Not even her own family.
And when lines are drawn, both with family and in the brotherhood, the members of the Savannah brotherhood stick together.
The family you choose is the one that never lets you down.
Ahhhh the romantic wedding of the times. This novella was needed. I loved seeing behind the scenes of the wedding of Maggie & Isaac. And all the extras that come with it. I wanted to take a big old mean bite out of Maggie's parents, but I'm expecting several will. They should be fed to the zombies!
This was a fun and quick read. I loved getting more of Isaac and Maggie. I really feel the need to throat punch Maggie’s mom though. What a witch! So excited for the next book in the series.
have you ever read a book and the couple get their hea and wedding, but by the next book it happened ? well in Eternal Heart we get the pre wedding story and wedding. Maggie and Issac wedding day approaches before the third trial . we see into Maggies home life and why she never looked back. we meet some higher ups in the irder and we find out what FAMILY means to all of the Bay Street Brew gang. Looking firward to book 3 and the next trial. love this series its fresh and told so well it makes you want to visit Savannah and go to the bar and hang with the gang
Isaac is determined to help Maggie set her parents straight and let them know that their behavior will not separate them. They have been through too much to let her parents ruin their wedding. This is a short story but is still riveting like the previous books in this series.
We met Maggie and Isaac in Eclipsed Heart (Apocalypse Rising Book 1). This book takes place two years later and starts five days before their wedding. This story is sweet and sexy with some laugh out loud moments. There is wedding madness, in-law issues and lots of love. I recommend having read Eclipsed Heart and Spectral Heart first so you can get the most out of this story.
I love that we get to see the wedding, but I think it's all the drama and turmoil that makes you always wanting more. I love how the guys always stick up for the girls ... even if they are not the ones with them... I can't wait for the next book...
Short little excerpt to get the nuptials out of they way and set up the next instalment. It was short enough that it was almost not necessary and could have been in book two, but seeing how book 2 revolved around a different couple i understand it. It was a nice little happy book amongst the chaos.
Book 2.5, the wedding. Fun vignette. A way to see 'behind the scenes' as we await the next trial and watch Isaac and Maggie get married. Also developments discovered for the next trials.
