Hard to rate this type of book. I picked up in a free little library. I was interested to read a parenting book from the late 70s as I think that parenting advice tends to follow what is “trendy” and I was curious to see how something from 40 years ago stacks up. Cool time capsule I will revisit and keep on my shelf. It was particularly interesting to see how the book tackled gender roles, single parenting, race, etc. I love the fact that books (and movies) are time capsules.
This is a wonderful set you need all I believe there is 3 check for others. Every time I need to see the learning level of our babies in my family and learn how to help them by improvising I pick up this book. I love the study of Childhood development. Children are so amazing! That makes them even more lovable! Old books yes, but books that never change. Because they are written about basic childhood progress.
