Take Time to Talk: A Resource for Apraxia Therapy, Esophageal Speech Training, Aphasia Therapy, and Articulation Therapy

Rate this book
Take Time to Talk is a step by step instructional workbook for verbally apraxic patients as well as a resource for esophageal speech training, aphasia therapy and articulation therapy. It is based on a traditional apraxia approach. It was compiled over a nine-year period to meet the needs of patients and the therapists working with them. Many of Patricia White's patients had personal input, making the book as practical and useful as possible.

The text is arranged in alphabetical order for convenience, but each exercise progresses from easier productions to more difficult ones, providing a challenge for all levels of apraxia. The author takes you step by step to ensure maximum benefit from the workbook and case illustrations are included.

This has really helped me with Elizabeth and getting her to talk. It even helped Mason too, we really enjoyed having fun with this book together.
